Vehicular Gritting

For over a decade, NGS has supplied customers with dedicated winter maintenance vehicles, complete with skilled operatives, to undertake the pre-salting of sites.

NGS advocates use of white salt because it is sustainable and provides much better value for money. However Brown salt can also be used to meet customer requirements if they so prefer

NGS’s fleet comprises of over 45 gritters and over 30 specialist winter service vans. The NGS fleet includes gritters from ranging from 3.5tons to 26 tons, with varying drive axles, plough sizes and spinner levels.

The fleet also comprises trailers and 4x4’s to be used in conjunction with tyre chains and other specialist equipment if the conditions so warrant it.
